On 28 October, the 46th meeting of the CIS Intergovernmental Council for Cooperation in Construction Activities commenced in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

 

The purpose of the event is to strengthen sustainable construction policies among CIS member states, promote the exchange of experience, expand opportunities for joint projects, and encourage the application of innovative technologies in this field.

 

At the opening session, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Dovletkhan Dovletkhanov, delivered a speech, sharing Azerbaijan’s extensive experience in this sector and inviting the participants to attend the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku in 2026.
