Delegation from Azerbaijan headed by Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Ilgar Isbatov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of our country to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliev visited the city of Irpin.

First, they visited the monument to the outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva in the Frendship Park, laid flowers at her grave and honored her blessed memory. 

Then the delegation visited the Irpin Humanitarian Lyceum “Linguist” of the city council named after Zarifa Aliyeva, which was severely damaged as a result of military operations. 

Thanks to the charitable assistance of the State Oil Company (SOCAR), the roof and windows were replaced in the lyceum, repairs were carried out in the classrooms, and the heating system was updated. Currently, SOCAR funds are continuing work on the insulation of the facade of the lyceum building, and the shelter is also being repaired.

During the day, the delegation will also visit the Irpin Medical Center, the Central House of Culture, the building of which was completely burned down as a result of military operations, the Irpin Children's and Youth Sports School, part of the building of which was completely destroyed as a result of military operations, the place where the Art Center is planned to be built, as well as the territory where the residential complex will be reconstructed. 

At the same time, a delegation from Azerbaijan met with the head of the Irpin City Council and the issues of the initial evaluation of urban development projects in Irpin were widely discussed.
