The Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, held a meeting with the Maksat Mamitkanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan.

 

During the meeting, issues of expanding strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as cooperation in the fields of urban development and architecture, were discussed.

 

Anar Guliyev specifically highlighted the high appreciation for Kyrgyzstan’s fraternal support in the restoration and reconstruction efforts in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur. He noted that the opening of a school building this year in the village of Khydyrly in the Agdam district is one of the best examples of this support and expressed confidence that future joint projects with Kyrgyzstan will be successfully developed.

 

In conclusion, the Chairman of the Committee invited the Kyrgyz side to actively participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku in 2026.
