The Tajikistan delegation highly praised Azerbaijan's innovative approaches in urban planning
The Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, held a meeting with the delegation led by led by Nizom Mirzozoda, Chairman of the Committee on Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Tajikistan, to discuss opportunities for strengthening relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding experience exchange and implementing joint projects. The guests expressed particular interest in Azerbaijan's experience in modernizing and transforming cities while preserving traditions, as well as in the innovative approaches to urban planning that ensure the harmony of historical heritage, modern solutions, and sustainable development.
Additionally, Nizom Mirzozoda highly praised the successful organization of Urbanization Day held within the framework of COP29, the "Multisectoral Actions Pathways (MAP) for Resilient and Healthy Cities" initiative, and the establishment of the Baku Continuity Coalition, extending his sincere congratulations on these significant achievements.
