The electronic application system is designed for permissions for construction and operation of facilities that require permissions but do not require examination. In accordance with Article 80 of the Urban Planning and Construction Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, notification procedure shall apply to construction of individual residential houses with up to three floors, each being 12 meters in height with span of 6 meters; for such buildings permission shall not be required. For this purpose, the client shall inform the relevant local authority about the construction intent before commencement of the construction and confirm the architectural plan and master plan sections of the construction project as well as the right of ownership, rent or use of the land plot to verify compliance with the legislation by submitting copies of those documents to that local authority. In the event that the relevant local authority does not object to the project within 10 days, the client can start construction.
