The 2nd Azerbaijan National Urban Forum (NUFA) , which will be held under the joint organization of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Nations Human Settlements Program (UN-Habitat), will host a series of exclusive lectures designed to support education in the field of urban planning and inspire future leaders of urban development.

The two-day lectures will provide participants with a unique opportunity to discuss urban planning policies of different countries and new methods in the future planning of cities. Selected specialists from international universities were invited to the event:

• Prof. Le-Yin Zhang, University College London

• Prof. Ricardo Garcia Mira, University of A Coruna

• Prof. Jerzy Grochulski, Warsaw University of Technology

• Prof. Olgu Çalyşkan, Middle East Technical University 

They will share their experience and research, as well as valuable insights on urban development and urban management, design, sustainability, environmental psychology, the relationship between climate change and industrialization and other important topics.

The special lecture part of the event, which will be held from September 30 to October 1, 2023, is open to all students, professionals and anyone interested in the topic. The lecture will serve as a convenient platform for studying the experience and opinions of leading experts on urban problems and their solutions.
