Anar Guliyev had a meeting with Mr. Tomáš Taraba, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment of the Slovak Republic, within the framework of the High-Level Political Forum
At the meeting, Anar Guliyev expressed our gratitude to Mr. Taraba for his active role and valuable contributions during Urbanization Day at COP29.
Discussed Slovakia’s engagement in reconstruction projects in Azerbaijan, including the “smart” village in Garvand (Aghdam), and exchanged views on housing & construction sectors.
Committee Chairman warmly invited Slovakian colleagues to join WUF13 in Baku (May 2026), as well as the 3rd Azerbaijan National Urban Forum in Shusha in October 2025.
