At the High-level dialogue on "Adequate housing for all" held within the framework of the Second Session of the Assembly of the UN-Habitat, Azerbaijan confirmed its support for the UN-Habitat Strategic Plan for 2026-2029.

We noted that housing policy is a priority on Azerbaijan’s national development agenda. Our country is actively implementing comprehensive initiatives for housing construction and renovation.

Within the framework of the upcoming WUF13, the theme of which will be “Housing the World: Safe and Resilient Cities and Communities,” Azerbaijan, as the host country, will strive to unite the efforts of member states and partners to jointly promote and implement strategic goals in the area of adequate housing.
