There will be held Elections to the Public Council under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture
The process of registration of candidates for the elections to the Public Council under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan completed, and on August 9, the meeting of the Election Commission established to ensure the activities of the Council took place. In the meeting the documents submitted during the nomination process of the candidates for the elections to the Public Council were evaluated and 18 candidates who meet the requirements of the legislation were elected. Since the number of members of the Public Council was set as 11 persons by the Election Commission, it is planned to conduct elections by secret voting on September 11, 2021, in the administrative building of the Committee (AZ 1014, Baku, Fuzuli Street, 65) with the purpose to determine the members of the Committee among the nominated candidates.
It should be noted that only the representatives of civil society organizations can participate at the elections. Registration of the representatives will start on August 11, 2021 and will last until September 1, 2021. The civil society organizations intending to participate at the elections can apply by submitting the following documents of their representatives:
- A copy of the ID card of the representative who will take part in the voting;
- A copy of the document confirming the representation of the civil society organization;
- A copy of the document related to the state registration of the civil society organization he / she represents;
- The contact information of the representative who will take part in the voting.
The information about the persons wishing to participate can be submitted to the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture (Election Commission) by the organizations in person or online at ictimaishura@arxkom.gov.az on working days from 10:00 to 17:00.
