Visit was organized to the Republic of Korea as part of the technical assistance program for K-City Network 2022 - “Smart City” projects. The visit, supported by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea (MOLIT) and the Korea Overseas Infrastructure and Urban Development Corporation (KIND), was attended by experts from the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Within the framework of the program, participants visited the Korean Expressway Corporation, Dongtan new town, Pangyo Clean Tower, Osan Smart City Integrated Operation Center, Gimje Smart Farm, Seoul Energy Dream Center and IFEZ - Incheon Free Economic Zone. 

In the Republic of Korea, the experts got acquainted with traffic management, ways of ensuring security with a camera surveillance system, the use of solar energy, waste management or energy generation, and other Smart City solutions and exchanged ideas about their experiences in this area.
