The Committee held a next online educational event with the purpose to expand the application of the “One-stop-shop” electronic system across the country
New opportunities of the system were presented to the representatives of the Executive Authority.
The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture continues conducting awareness-raising trainings in various economic districts on expanding the application of the “One-stop-shop” electronic system in the territory of the country aimed at simplifying the mechanism for obtaining construction and operation permits and increasing efficiency and transparency in this direction. The next online educational event, which presented the capabilities of the "One-stop-shop" electronic system and the innovations added to the portal, took place with the participation of 11 local executive authorities covering the Sheki-Zagatala, Guba-Khachmaz economic districts. The event was attended by deputy heads of executive authorities, chief architects, employees of architecture and construction departments of Balakan, Gakh, Gabala, Oguz, Sheki, Zagatala, Khachmaz, Guba, Gusar, Shabran and Siyazan districts.
During the meeting there was provided the detailed information on the work done to expand the "One-stop-shop" electronic system established by the Committee with the purpose to facilitate the process of obtaining permits in accordance with relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, future targets and responsibility of local executive bodies in this work. As part of the online event, each functional section of the “One-stop-shop” system and all stages of the test application, including the entire process ranging from the electronic download of the construction project to the portal, online collection of feedbacks of the relevant government agencies and, subsequently, obtaining the electronic permission through the user’s electronic cabinet were visually demonstrated. In addition, the Committee provided relevant recommendations to the representatives of local executive authorities on the current situation with the implementation of the requirements of the legislation in the field of construction and operation permits, errors in the documents submitted through the system and their elimination.
It should be noted that the Committee continues to improve the "One-stop-shop" electronic system, which aims to facilitate the process of obtaining construction and operation permits, increase transparency and citizen satisfaction in this direction , and plans to conduct awareness-raising trainings regarding this in other economic districts.
