On August 6, 2024, the Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Anar Guliyev, met with a delegation led by the World Bank's Country Manager for Azerbaijan, Stefani Stallmeister.

During the meeting, there was an in-depth exchange of views on the Baku Master Plan, discussions on the city's sustainable development strategies, and exploration of the prospects for collaborative projects within the framework of the "Green and Sustainable City" concept in Azerbaijan.
