Co-Chairs of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission visit Gyzyl Kangarli village in Aghdam
The delegations led by Azerbaijan’s Co-Chair, Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov, and Belarus’ Co-Chair, Deputy Prime Minister Natalya Petkevich, were briefed on the planned agricultural settlement in Gyzyl Kangarli village. The agri-settlement will be established with the participation of Belarusian experts. The project is expected to significantly contribute to the comprehensive development of settlements in Aghdam district, the revival of rural areas, and the region’s economy.
The guests also visited the village to observe the destruction caused during the years of Armenian occupation.
The agreements signed between Azerbaijan and Belarus on October 3, 2024, include provisions for the development of agricultural production in Aghdam district and the planning of an agri-settlement in Gyzyl Kangarli village.
