Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Anar Guliyev received residents of Shamkir and Gadabey districts in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in cities and districts by the heads of central executive authorities and other governing bodies. The meeting took place on July 12, 2023 in the city of Shamkir.

 

Before reception of citizens, the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev was visited, flowers were laid at his grave and the blessed memory of the Great Leader was honored.

 

During the reception, answers were given to citizens' questions mainly about the standards for the design and construction of non-residential facilities, procedures for issuing permits for construction and operation. Other appeals related to the scope of the Committee's activities were also registered, the necessary instructions were given for their thorough study and resolution in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.

 

In addition, Chairman of the Committee held meetings with the head of the executive power of the Shamkir district and with the relevant official of the executive power of the Gadabey district. At the meetings, a broad exchange of views was held on the status of the implementation of the Master Plans of both district centers, topical topics related to the reconstruction and development of urban areas, and further steps, topical issues of the organization of urban planning activities and state control in this area were discussed.
