Builders' Day in Azerbaijan is celebrated on April 10
Dear Builders!
On behalf of the entire staff and management of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I sincerely congratulate You on the professional holiday - “Builders' Day”, and wish You great success in Your responsible and honorable work for the progress of our country.
The Architecture and the Art of Construction of Azerbaijan, rooted in rich historical traditions, continue to play an exceptional role in the formation of the living environment of each of us thanks to the rapidly developing Urban Planning works inherited by the time. Valuable historical monuments from the distant past to the present are a source of pride for each and every Azerbaijani by combining unique examples of Eastern and Western architecture. Today, along with its unique historical appearance, Azerbaijan is distinguished by its buildings that meet high modern design standards and occupy a special place among the pearls of World Architecture. The modern Construction industry, as one of the most important and complex sectors of the Economy, contributes to the further development of our cities and other settlements as a result of the large-scale Construction, Reconstruction, and Landscaping works carried out in the territory of our country in recent years and ensures the construction of new magnificent and unique buildings.
The work of builders in the development of the Construction industry, which is of particular importance in the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan, is invaluable. I am sure that many of you celebrate the professional holiday at work in this field, where hundreds of thousands of people work selflessly. That is why Your work deserves the best value. The celebration of April 10 as the "Builders' Day" according to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev signed on December 16, 2009 is a vivid example of the high value of the President for the work of construction workers - builders, architects, and engineers. I believe that “Builders' Day”, which has become a symbol of unity of these professionals, will be remembered this year, like every year, with magnificent new Urban Planning projects.
I heartily congratulate You on the professional holiday, wish each of you good health, inexhaustible inspiration, and creative success in Your work for the progress of the Construction industry in our country.
