The Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, held a meeting with the delegation led by Prof. Cheong Koon Hean, Chairman of the Centre for Liveable Cities at the Ministry of National Development of Singapore.

During the meeting, cooperation perspectives were discussed, focusing on sustainable and liveable healthy city approaches, ecological solutions, advanced urban planning technologies, and Singapore's extensive experience in the digitalization of urban management.

The guest extended congratulations on the successful organization of Urbanization Day at COP29, as well as Azerbaijan's “Multisectoral Action Pathways for Resilient and Healthy Cities” initiative and the establishment of the Baku Sustainability Coalition.

At the end of the meeting, both parties invited each other to the World Urban Forum to be held in Baku and the World Cities Summit to be organized in Singapore.
