The Committee suspended preparations for illegal construction in the Yasamal district, near the residential complex "Three Crowns"

Specialists of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture promptly investigated information in social networks and the press about land management works carried out in recent days on the banks of a small artificial reservoir located in the Yasamal district of Baku, at the intersection of Hasan bey Zardabi and Akim Abbasov streets, near the “Three Crowns".
It was found that the Committee had not received any declarations of intent to build in the area and no building permits had been issued in the area.
In this regard, the Committee established an urgent communication with the executive power of the Yasamal region and approved the suspension of works on the site, dismantling of equipment in accordance with the requirements of the "Rules for the implementation of state urban planning control" approved by Presidential Decree No. 375 of November 24, 2014.
The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture declares that the territory is under control and any construction works that contradict the requirements of the urban planning legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the interests of the surrounding residents, are not allowed.
The State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture again appeals to individuals and legal entities engaged in construction activities with an appeal to comply with all the requirements of the urban planning legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and notes that any construction work without the permission of the relevant executive authorities is prohibited.
