Anar Guliyev

 

Date and place of birth: 08.10.1977. Baku

 

Education: Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Azerbaijan Aviation Academy in 1999 as an engineer-economist, with a major in Economics and Management of Manufacturing and Service Sectors. 

 

Career: 

 

Anar Guliyev began his career as a specialist at the State Committee on Property of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1999. Between 2000 and 2001, he served as a specialist and later senior specialist at the Ministry of State Property of the Republic of Azerbaijan. From 2001 to 2005, he held the positions of chief specialist and senior consultant at the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He then led investment promotion activities at the Azerbaijan Investment and Export Promotion Foundation from 2005 to 2009.

 

From 2009 to 2016, he served as Deputy Chief of Department, and later Chief of Department, at the "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architectural Reserve under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. From 2016 to 2018, he held the posts of Advisor to the Director and Chief of Staff at the State Housing Development Agency under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

In 2018-2019, he served as Chief of Staff of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 19 June 2019, Anar Adil oglu Guliyev was appointed First Deputy-Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

On 8 January 2020, by Presidential Order, he was appointed Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 16 May 2014, Anar Guliyev was awarded the “Distinguished Public Service” Medal. He holds the title of Public Service Advisor.

 

On May 22, 2024, at the snap general meeting of the Azerbaijan Archery Federation, Anar Guliyev was elected President of the Azerbaijan Archery Federation.
