Namig Mahammad oglu Hummatov

Date and place of birth: 07.10.1971, Baku

Education: Graduated from The Faculty of Mechanics of the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute in 1994 as an engineer-mechanic with the major in Logistical Transport, construction road machinery and equipments. 

Employment:

He started his career in General Machine-building Department of The State Oil Company of  the Azerbaijan Republic in 1994. 

He has held administrative positions in various companies from 1995 to 2018 as well as supervised the construction of numerous administrative and residential buildings in different regions while working in construction companies since 2007. 

In 2018-2019 worked as a Chief of the Urban Area Construction Planning Department of The Baku General Directorate for Architecture and Urban Planning under the State Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In 2019-2020, has worked as Chairman of the Board of the Territorial Construction and Planning Center, as well as serving as a chief of The Baku General Directorate for  Architecture and Urban Planning under the State Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan from 9 January  2020. 

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of 4 June 2020, Namig Mahammad oglu Hummatov was appointed First Deputy-Chairman of the State Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
