First, the chairman of the committee Anar Guliyev and other employees visited the grave of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev on the Alley of Honor.

At the anniversary ceremony, Chairman of the Committee Anar Guliyev, welcoming the guests, spoke about the exceptional role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the formation of independent Azerbaijan and his invaluable contribution to the development of urban planning and architecture in Azerbaijan. In his speech, he noted that the meaningful life path, the rich and multifaceted legacy of Heydar Aliyev, who won eternity with his unprecedented merits, is an inexhaustible instructive school. It was noted that the statehood strategy laid down by a Great Leader with a rich political heritage and experience is continued by President Ilham Aliyev in the name of the development of our country.

Then the book by the head of the Department of the Azerbaijan Research Institute of Construction and Architecture under the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Dr. of Philosophy in Economics Eldar Nuriyev titled "Heydar Aliyev and the development of the construction complex in Azerbaijan" was presented. The book tells about the country's economy which experienced a deep crisis in the 1960s, including the rapid development of the construction sector and its material and technical base as a result of measures taken in 1969-1982, the timely construction and commissioning of important industrial, social, cultural, service facilities in cities and districts, development of the country's economy.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Committee and senior officials met with a group of intellectuals who worked under the leadership of the Great Leader in different years, who made their valuable contribution to the preparation of materials for the book, their memories and opinions about the presented book were heard.

After the meeting, the book signing ceremony was held by the author. The guests were also given the opportunity to personally familiarize themselves with the architectural features of a number of buildings built in our capital during the leadership of Azerbaijan by national leader Heydar Aliyev, detailed information was given about the role of Heydar Aliyev in the construction of these buildings.
