Azerbaijan has a rich history of architecture. Located at the junction of the East and the West, Azerbaijan has formed its own unique national architectural school, reflecting the features of world architecture. Our people gave many world-famous architectural examples to the world treasury. As a result, Azerbaijan's historical and architectural monuments are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

National Leader Heydar Aliyev, who calls architecture art as a manifestation of the material and spiritual values ​​of the people, paid special attention to the development of this area. Under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev, along with other areas, the Azerbaijani architecture was successfully developed and diversified, and strong specialists were trained.

This attention and care for national art is continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Today, along with projects that are inspired by our historical traditions, both in Baku and in other cities and regions, buildings and complexes are selected for their modern and innovative architecture. The modern Azerbaijani architects, continuing their rich traditions of their predecessors, are still proud of our people with new searches, discoveries and achievements, and make valuable contributions to world architecture.
